昨今、歴史的建築をアーカイブする各種デジタル技術の普及がめざましく、様々な取組が生まれている一方でそれらの取組は点在している状況にある。我々は、共同研究を通じてインターネット上に点在するデジタルアーカイブの取り組みを収集・分析し、関わる主体の属性やデジタル化の目的と技術を主軸に、それらを整理し、体系的に扱う枠組みの提示を試みている。
しかし、属性の異なる主体間のインタラクティブな活動を促進させるためには、必要かつ共有可能な情報の提供と選別はもちろん、目的に相応しいプロジェクトのフローやノウハウを共有するための基盤づくりとその継続的更新を、企画に賛同してくれる主体を集い、ある共同体間で行っていく必要がある。
よって、その継続的協議をスタートするにあたり、主体の属性を設計者に絞り、歴史的建築を対象とした、3Dスキャナーを用いた修復設計や記録保存の実践を共有し、賛同者を集うと共に、共有すべき情報とその基盤の在り方について協議するための場としてシンポジウムを開催する。
Recently, various digital technologies for archiving historical architecture have been spreading remarkably, and while various initiatives have been created, these initiatives are scattered throughout the world. Through joint research, we have collected and analyzed digital archiving efforts scattered across the Internet, organized them based on the attributes of the entities involved and the purpose and technology of digitization, and attempted to present a framework for handling them systematically. However, in order to promote interactive activities among entities with different attributes, it is necessary not only to provide and select necessary and shareable information, but also to create an infrastructure for sharing project flow and know-how appropriate for the purpose, and to continuously update the infrastructure among entities who agree with the project. The project needs to be carried out among a certain community of entities that support the project. Therefore, in order to start the ongoing discussion, we will narrow the focus of the symposium to designers, share the practice of restoration design and record preservation using 3D scanners for historical buildings, gather supporters, and discuss what information to share and how the foundation for such information should be.
